Our Services

Below is a brief summary of the services our office provides. For detailed information about any service, click on the appropriate title.

Fraud Investigation & Prevention

Fraud investigation is the practice of employing accounting, and investigative skills to assist in the determination of whether criminal matters such as employee theft, securities fraud (including falsification of financial statements), insurance fraud and identity theft have occurred. We might also recommend actions designed to minimize future risk of loss.

Business Tax

The preparation of business tax returns for corporations ("C" & "S" Corporations), Partnerships, Limited Liability Companies and other types of companies takes expertise to prepare properly. In order to minimize a company's tax burden, extensive knowledge of federal and state tax laws is critical.

Business Valuation

Business valuations are performed for many purposes, including:  purchase or sale of closely held businesses, mergers, buy-in/buy-out of partners, bank financing, estate tax compliance, marital dissolution/divorce, court-appointed valuations in dispute, minority shareholder disputes and litigation, bankruptcy, mediation and binding arbitration.

Litigation Support

Litigation support from our Certified Public Accountants includes:  business valuation, marital dissolution/divorce including net disposable income calculations and child support calculations, fraud investigation including data mining, fraud prevention, damage calculations, expert testimony, tax compliance expertise and more.

Small Business Services

As a small business owner, you have more important things to do than to keep your own books. We take care of the books for you so you can get back to the job of running your business and generating profit!  Each month, or quarter, we'll do the following for you:  reconcile your bank account, generate an income statement, generate a balance sheet, clean up your general ledger and review matters with you.

When it comes to paying employees, laws and the IRS have made the payroll function a time-consuming nightmare for the small business owner.  Small business owners spend an average of eight hours per month performing payroll functions. That's 12 full days a year that could be spent generating sales, prospecting new business opportunities, improving products or services or servicing customers.

Personal Tax

Preparing your own income tax return can be a task that leaves you with more questions than answers. According to a recent study released by the US Government's General Accounting Office, most taxpayers (77% of 71 million taxpayers) believe they benefited from using a professional tax preparer. Whether we like it or not, today's tax laws are complicated and filing a relatively simple return can be confusing.

Computer and Software Training, Selection and Support

Our experienced staff will tailor a computer system and software package to best fit the needs of your business. We can also help in training and use of various financial software. We are a QuickBooks professional software advisor.
